Role Tensions

Every start records two roles: where she was deployed (the formation slot, a classic 1–11 number) and how she actually played (a model inference from her on-ball events, ~77% accurate). When the two disagree on depth, that's a tension — and the recognizable patterns get names: a striker who plays like an attacking mid is a false 9. Counts are per match; we never average a player into a single “true role.” Regular season, outfield starters only.
